- Made with Nucap NRS hooks on backplates to totally eliminate the chance of pad debond.
Engineered for high-performance track driving, RP-X™ delivers a consistent friction level of 0.55 across temperatures ranging from 0 to 750°C (Ambient – 1400°F), ensuring 100% braking efficiency from cold. This makes RP-X™ an ideal choice for sprint racing and hill climb events, where instant full braking power is crucial without the need for warm-up. - For vehicles with a 2-piece pin-drive disc as standard, the EBC SG2F 2-piece disc upgrade seamlessly converts to a fully floating 2-piece system without any vehicle modifications.

Advanced Floating Design:
- The cast iron friction ring 'floats' on EBC's patented SD-Drive technology bobbins, allowing up to 3mm of expansion and contraction under the extreme heat of heavy braking.
- All bobbins are crafted from a single piece of stainless steel, which prevents corrosion and ensures long-term free-floating performance.
- Each bobbin location is equipped with an anti-rattle spring clip, ensuring silent operation without the common noise issues seen in other full race 2-piece disc systems.

Performance and Cost Benefits:
- Upgrading to an EBC 2-piece disc reduces unsprung rotational mass, leading to sharper turn-in, improved tyre road holding, better fuel economy, and increased horsepower at the wheels.
- When the cast iron friction ring wears out, it can be replaced independently, allowing the centre hub and stainless bobbins to be reused and reducing long-term running costs.
